During this lead generation process the prospect is in control, your job is to guide them toward the best information for them to make a wise decision based on what they want and need. Here are some smart questions you should ask yourself before you buy any system:
- What "image" does your system project?
Is it full of hype, and are you going to feel comfortable promoting it? Two years from now are you going to be proud of what you were promoting? What language does the system use? Does it say any idiot can do it? Remember this is going to attract a certain "type" of prospect to you.
- Ideally, what type of people are you trying to attract to you?
Are you going after older Americans, professionals, disgruntled network marketers, opportunity seekers? Do they have computer skills? Do they have money? Are you going to try to attract product customers? Developing a "perfect prospect profile" is going to become one of the best things you can do for yourself in building your own custom lead generation system.
- Is there a cost on the front end?
Does your ideal total MLM success system make a profit for you on the front end, or does it just have an information exchange? This is important because when you ask your prospect to buy before you ever talk to them, you end up with a much more motivated and educated prospect, than when you're simply exchanging "free" resources like a vacation contest (cheesy) or something to that effect.
There are many more questions you can ask yourself, but these are the core to really focus on before you make a decision on which of the lead generation systems is right for your business.
